ABOUT US

Welcome to the Robotics for Extreme Environments Group at The University of Manchester. We are a growing group of research engineers and scientists working to apply robotics solutions to challenges in extreme environments. Currently we have projects tackling challenges in nuclear decommissioning, offshore wind farm inspection and mining, which bring together experts from areas including mechatronics, control systems engineering, advanced sensing, machine learning, swarm robotics, tele-operation and Human-Robot-Interaction (HRI).
