After developing a low cost 3D printed ROV called the AVEXIS, I am now working iin partnership with Sellafield and NNL to develop autonomous robotic solutions for problems within a nuclear environment. Using complex, robust, high resolution positional algorithms, sensors and acoustic communication system, in order to relay the current positions of each agent, to a visualized overview interface. Obtianed his Masters degree from Plymouth University in 2011 and then spent 2 1/2 years as a robotic research assistane developing Plymouth's robot football team.
Developing the next generation of nuclear decommissionning robotics research. Working in partnership with the nuclear sector and other unverisities around the UK and EU to reduce risk, accelerate productivity an reduce long term costs .
