AVEXIS 150

AVEXIS is a small underwater vehicle that has been designed to survey and monitor challenging environments, particularly the legacy ponds and silos at Sellafield. This project aims to demonstrate the use of AVEXIS on the Sellafield site in 2016.

Developing a low cost 3D printed ROV, working in partnership to find problems within a nuclear storage pond environment. Using complex, robust, high resolution positional algorithms, sensors and acoustic communication system, in order to relay the current positions of each agent, to a visualized overview interface. Obtianed his Masters degree from Plymouth University in 2011 and then spent 2 1/2 years as a robotic research assistane developing Plymouth's robot football team.
