AVEXIS RESEARCH

AVEXIS is a small underwater vehicle that has been designed to survey and monitor challenging environments, particularly the legacy ponds and silos at Sellafield. Therree has been 3 phase of development to date, PhD research project,. Flowed by a PDRA Hardware development focused on size reducion to enable acess in to Sellafield Soils. The current developement is now focus on the DAMSEL collabrutaion between UoM Robotics, NMRI of Japan and University of Lancster. All in aid of getting the AVEXIS reconfigurded to be deployed in Fukushima.
